| QUIET MEDITATION CLASS with June Heintz: | |||
| WHEN: Tuesdays from 11:15am-11:45am. Please try to arrive as close as possible to 11:10am. On the other hand, please feel free to enter after 11:15am if that is what the day brings to you. COST: FREE - However, we will provide a basket by the door if you would like to contribute toward the studio rental fee. ABOUT: Please bring your own pillow. This class will be a chance to experience peaceful abiding meditation, one of the many forms of meditation. June has been meditating and for 10 years in the Buddhist tradition, but this form of meditation is non-sectarian and without reference to any thought system. It's basis is experience. | WHEN: Fridays, August 31st through December 21st and Fridays, January 11th - May 10th from 10:30am-12pm. COST: The cost of a drop-in class is $17 with a discounted rate of $15 for UVa/PVCC students (For more information on tuition rates and 10-class punch cards please go to the following website: http://charlottesvilleballet.org/academy/classes/tuition/) ABOUT: Charlottesville Ballet company classes are geared for the professional company, but all classes are open to the public. All classes will be taught by the Charlottesville Ballet Co-Directors, Associate Director Keith Lee, or guest artists in residence. On Friday, 8/31 we will have Guest Choreographer, R. Colby Damon from Ballet X in Philadelphia teaching class.
